eGov条文ジャンプ is a free Chrome add-on developed by yoshihirosaotome. It offers a convenient feature that allows users to jump to specific articles within the laws displayed in eGov legal search by inputting a number key. This feature is an extraction of the article jump function from the Android and iOS versions of And六法.
When searching for legal documents on Google, eGov legal search often appears as a top result. Many users rely on eGov legal search to check specific articles. However, one drawback of eGov legal search is that users need to scroll or navigate through the table of contents to find the desired article. With this extension, users can simply input the article number using a key (either the number keys or the numeric keypad) and instantly jump to the corresponding article. After inputting the number, there is a brief time (2 seconds) without input before it resets, allowing users to input another key and search for the next article.
